The night crew was Caleb Waters,Luke Will,Chuck Baker,and Brian Roberts of Engine 9. The day shift crew was Buck Rogers,Chad Harris,Lewis Clark and Ben Hampton of Engine 9. The night shift crew was bet from running calls all night and at five minutes before shift change and they decided not sleep because they knew as soon as they tried to sleep the alarm would sound again. So when the time came around for 06:00 hrs in the morning for day shift to show up the night shift decided to tell them their night.

The engine along with Rescue 1,3 where toned out for a vehicle accident around 10:00 with entrapment with fluids down. The engine responded and as they were in route the chief on scene requested an additional engine just in case of a spark would catch the car on fire. As the engine was arriving on scene they were told to assist Rescue 1 with getting a patient out of the one car. The patient was trapped by the dashboard and couldn’t move her legs so the engine and rescue crew popped the door and pushed the dash with the hurst tools. Once in route they said that the another alarm was pulled down the street from the first one and the engine requested police the meet them at the first fire alarm to see if it was just an afa or if it was actually a real fire. Once on scene the engine noticed that there was a crowd of people in the street and so the capt. went up to see what was going on he requested an ambulance and a rescue for a person stuff underneath a car on the side of the street. So when the engine was waiting for the rescue and ambulance to get there they checked the other alarm and that was just a AFA and nothing was needed
