John is an owner of a Brothel that he labels as ‘instant sex’ and is for the epidemic of Human Trafficking. He uses the title ‘instant sex’ as it is a way of ensuring gradification, and also remittances as a way of trying to justify his perspective and choice. He sees Human trafficking as a demand that needs to be supplied. John states that when there is a shortage of dancers within his club he imports new victims and by doing so he is bringing interest into the club this creates an economic factor within the industry. Captive Daughter’s vision statement states that their sole purpose is to end the sexual bondage of women and children. The organisation was inspired by Sandra Hunnicutt’s (Founding director) when she was on stay in Nepal, she learnt firsthand about sex trafficking. (Captive Daughters , n.d.). Established in 1997, 99% of the money that is donated to the organisation is used to spread the word on the epidemic. Due to the trade of Human trafficking being highly illegal and clandestine, there are many protective measures that need to take place prior to prosecuting individuals. Within Switzerland for an individual to be prosecuted the case must first go through Cantonal prosecution authorities rather than the federal prosecution authorities. There are vast layers within the required requirements of what represents a criminal group/organisation. Due to this there have been very few cases that have been assigned to the federal jurisdiction due to the lack of evidence that the individual has in fact acted as an individual within a criminal organisation.
