Deviation from social norms is one of the definitions of abnormality, which believes that if person is not acting in accordance to the social norms and implicit rules is more likely to be classified as an abnormal. For instance, a person who has the habit of counting every lamp post and if he does not do it becomes worried. This makes him arrive late for work. That abnormal behave is affecting the person and at the same time the person is breaching a social norm that is this case is punctuality and commitment.
