Breakdown of our target audience: Our target audience includes all individuals’ ages 15-65 who are diagnosed with diabetes or prediabetes that uses smartphones for managing their lifestyle. Our target audience also includes health promoters, health practitioners who can influence diabetes care, prevention and management. • Product, goods, and services: The product will include a smartphone ingrained with a glucose meter along with an app that is linked to the glucose meter. Advertisement will be throughout November which is Diabetes Awareness month. There will be commercial advertising on television and radio, in addition, special advertising during Black Friday event. An ad will be in the weekly Sunday newspaper. Billboards will be posted throughout the city. Ads will include how the device works, retail price, why it's the next best thing, key benefits and what it offers. Brochures and newsletters about the technology will be available in doctors’ offices, hospital, and clinics. Training sessions on how to use the smartphone will be available for ten weeks after its launch date starting November 9 on Monday, Wednesday, Friday 5-7pm, this information will be distributed to buyers of the device through conversational talk between the sales representative and consumer, flyers, as part of the tutorial to setting up the phone, as well as when the consumer receives a survey call from a representative which will than remind them of the training sessions. When purchases are made online, training sessions will be reminded at the end of the transaction and sent via text or email.
