The arranged marriage between Juliet and Paris negatively affects Juliet in numerous ways. Juliet makes it clear that she is not interested in marrying Paris and that Romeo will be her only spouse. However, Juliet's parents threaten to disown her if she refuses to marry Paris. This creates a rocky relationship between Juliet and her family. Not only does the marriage cause broken relationships, but it also causes Juliet to become suicidal.
Juliet's parents forced her to marry Paris, which led her to take the risky decision of faking her own death. The parents don't have any support for juliet. If they would just have not let her marry Paris then many things would have been changed. The parents are so stubborn and full of hatred. Romeo and Juliet likely would have been a good match for each other.
And she was. Juliet didn’t want to marry Paris because she was already married to Romeo, which she didn’t yet feel ready to publicly announce, and she just didn’t love Paris and knew she never could. Her parents gave her no say in a big life decision which caused anger both from Juliet and her
Romeo and Juliet got married but, didn’t tell anyone. This secret lead to a fight between Juliet and her father, lord Capulet. Juliet family thought she was a single girl and told her she must marry a young man called Paris. She fought with her parents about marrying Paris but never told them that she was already married. This scene deals with dramatic irony because not all the characters on stage knew the secret.
She also knew that she couldn't tell her father she was already married. Juliet told her father that she wouldn’t marry Paris and he was furious. He started calling her very rude names and told her he would disown her if she wouldn’t marry Paris. Juliet knew she couldn’t get married when she already was, so she was pushed to take extreme
Furthermore, Romeo and Juliet show excessive dedication in their love, especially Juliet. Moreover, when Romeo kills Tybalt in revenge for his friend Mercutio, Juliet weeps for her cousin, but then contradicts Romeo being a murderer when she realizes that if Romeo did not take action, Tybalt could have killed him. In addition, the daughter of the Capulets disputes with her parents when she is asked to get ready for her marriage with the handsome and wealthy Count Paris. Juliet’s refusal is completely understandable, because it is clear that no one can take Romeo’s place in Juliet’s heart, since he is the man she loves and most important of all, she was already secretly married to Romeo, so there was no way she could have possibly betrayed her husband.
Juliet is being forced to marry Count Paris because Lord Capulet wants to make the family stronger. Lord Capulet finds Paris to marry Juliet so she can start a family. Juliet tries her hardest to make her father change or forget about having Juliet being married. “I pray you tell my lord and father, madam, I will not marry yet; and when I do, I swear It shall be Romeo, whom you know I hate, Rather than Paris”(Shakespeare 121). Juliet asks Friar Laurence a way to not marry Paris.
Juliet is in love with Romeo and does not agree to marry Paris. She is furious with her father, but her father is furious that she is in love with a Montague. Juliet shouts, “Now, by Saint Peter’s Church and Peter too, / He shall not make me there a joyful bride.” (3.5.116-117).
The most defiant choice that Romeo and Juliet take for their love is their choice to be married. Juliet knows that her father or anyone in her family would not approve of this choice, but she still does it cause she loves Romeo. This love struck mentality drives Romeo and Juliet to be married and this secret marriage causes turmoil when Lord Capulet demands Juliet to marry Paris. Although Juliet knows that she is already married to Romeo loyal to him, not Paris and refuses to marry “doth Paris” (Shakespeare. III.v.145).
III. ii. The. 97-127) Because Romeo moved on so quickly to Juliet and made her fall in love with him, when Juliet’s father says she has to marry Paris, she is unable to because she’s secretly legally bound to Romeo, and would kill herself before signing another wedding agreement. (IV. i. 55-67.

Paris seems to be a fantastic guy, but since Juliet is already married she cannot marry him. Juliet is very upset when she heard the news about the arranged marriage you could tell when she said, “O, bid me leap, rather than marry Paris.” Juliet absolutely didn 't want to marry Paris.
Paris is the reason why Juliet took such extreme measures. Juliet’s mother tells her that she will marry “County Paris,” and he will make her “a joyful bride,” (3.5.17-18). Her reaction to this notice caused her to make a scene. Juliet is already married to Romeo; however, her parents aren’t aware of

Friar gives her a potion and plan to escape her marriage with Paris: “Take thou this vial, being then in bed, / And this distilling liquor drink thou off; / When presently through all thy veins shall run / A cold and drowsy humor; for no pulse / Shall keep his native progress, but surcease.
( II, ii, l. 121-122) She even agrees to get married to Romeo the very next day. Juliet’s rebellious streak is yet again evident when she says she will not marry Paris. In the patriarchal society that she lives in, she is expected to obey her father's . When Juliet says that Paris "shall not make me there a joyful bride".
She is able to deceive the Nurse from suspecting that she fell in love with Romeo. Furthermore, Juliet struggles with another problem when her parents decide that she was to marry the Count Paris when she was already married to Romeo. When Juliet refuses to marry Paris, she states, “I will not even marry yet, and when I do I swear it shall be Romeo, whom you know I hate, rather than Paris.” (III.v.126). She is not obedient to her parents like she used to.
