Diet Persuasive Speech

Well now the Christmas season is over its time to pull in the belts and start losing some of that excess fat we gained over the holidays. Last year was the same after Christmas I took on an extra few pounds from overindulging on festive delights, sweets and of course loads of excess alcohol. So what 's a girl to do these days I 've tried crash diets and Atkins and South Beach, none of them really that good for the long term. What I have found lately was a new diet which I 'm glad to say fits into my routine and is something more permanent. Actually it 's more of a lifestyle change rather than a Diet as I am also doing some light exercise with my Diet. Also it 's not a strict diet in the sense I can eat some food and not others, in fact it consists of a balanced diet, eating regularly and the correct portions which is not only healthy but also helps you lose weight rather than gain it.

A good way of doing this is to look at your self in the mirror every morning and say to yourself "You will be getting slimmer today" a few times over, a nice pep talk for yourself in the morning. Notice I use the word YOU and not I, it gives a little more meaning to the task at hand when you are staring at your self in the mirror and has been proven to be more effective, which I think I 've read in one of those self confidence books, anyway it seems to work for me.

Next you should weigh yourself, the best time for that is just after going to the toilet in the morning and before taking breakfast, that way your body will be in the same state as it was the day before, so you shouldn 't have taken on more weight from fluids or other things which may give you a false reading on the scales. I personally prefer to weigh my every other day or bi-weekly for better noticeable results and you should always note your weight in a book, diary or in an Excel file which is my personal favorite.
