It would be easy to distinguish the difference between Formal & Informal structures. The Formal structure usually is written down and the Informal structure is not. To be clearer, I will define them as follows:
• Formal Structure: is actually written down in the organizational chart to achieve the organization goals and solely spells out the authority and responsibility that are given to every individual. Also, it tells them the job they should perform.
