Romeo and Juliet is one of Shakespeare’s many amazing plays, what some people love most about them is how different all of his characters are. There are even different personalities for one character! All characters in this play have completely different personalities, all with many different points of view and perspectives in life. Some examples in differences of characters are Tybalt and Benvolio, Tybalt and Lord Capulet, and the two sides of Romeo. Tybalt and Benvolio are almost complete opposites in their personalities Tybalt and Lord Capulet have different ways of life and how things should be solve. Lastly there is Romeo, our main character. Romeo has two different personalities. i First there is Tybalt and Benvolio. They are polar opposites in everything, Tybalt believes that fighting and violence is the best and only way to solves problems. Yet On the other hand Benvolio believes that violence doesn’t solve anything and that you can peacefully resolve all your problems by talking it out. Tybalt’s personality is hot headed and aggressive while Benvolio is patient and mellow. Throughout the entire play these two are constantly arguing about you to go about things. …show more content…

If Lord Capulet is coaxed into a fight, there has to be a purely logical reason, even then he thinks things through instead of spewing insults. On the Flip side, Tybalt is extremely ill tempered and does not need a reason nor does he care who is watching, where it is, or what the reason is. Lord Capulet is patient and thinks things through to avoid conflict while Tybalt thinks nothing through. In the story Tybalt often gets mad at Lord Capulet but still has to listen to him
