Recording artists, authors and producers, grant Amazon the permission to allow their paying subscribers to listen books and/or music and watch movies via streaming, based on the package they purchase from Amazon Prime. Not to say diversity in leadership is lacking; however, it could benefit from a greater balance. Diversity requires a champion on the Board of Directors, like a CEO or appointing a Chief Diversity Officer (CDO) in order to make it “an operational value” (Harvey, 2015, p. 326-27). The book ‘Understanding and Managing Diversity’ clearly spoke about the Chief Diversity Officer as, “an executive at the corporate level whose job is to oversee, coordinate and manage an organization’s diversity initiatives” (Harvey, 2015, p. 327). Under a homogenous leadership board, the company will eventually suffer; on the other hand (Kidder, n.d.) stated, “a heterogeneous board also offers advantages such as enhanced financial performance, the perspectives of a changing customer base, improved employee morale, and increased attractiveness to investors (Harvey, 2015, p.
