Imagine watching a movie at IMAX 15 or eating a meal at the delicious and divine Red Robin maybe even sitting in your High School while people all around you are carrying loaded guns, then bang bang! (Onomatopoeia, repetition, Alliteration) This may be unreal but it is possible because the second amendment of the United States Constitution gives the right for citizens to possess and carry guns. Does gun control increase or decrease the freedom of citizens? (Rhetorical Question) I think it’s ok that Americans would want to own guns like shotguns and rifles for the popular hobby of hunting. However it is unreal that our government would let people carry handguns. Handgun possession should be very limited because they are made pretty much to kill (Loaded Word) people, handguns have increased the killing rate in the U.S. and they have even led children to easily kill other children. …show more content…
Like what happened in the shooting of the cop a few weeks ago (Allusion). Why would our country allow us to own an object that is deadly enough to kill each other? Our government seems to want to keep us out of harm. For example seatbelt laws and motorcycle helmet laws were created for safety reasons but not like this. The Environmental Protection Agency gives pollution laws to keep us healthy and safe. The Food and Drug Administration looks at food and tests drugs in order for us American citizens are not harmed by bad food and d unlawful drugs. Yet our government permits just about anybody to possess and walk around with guns. I feel that our government doesn’t really cares about our safety too much. If it did handguns would be banned for the general public because like I said they are only made to kill
