Does Your KTL Leasing System Work With Tesla?

Does your KTL leasing system work with Tesla?
No.

My KTL leasing system will not save you a single cent on a Tesla lease.

And I think this is GREAT news for us...

Why not?
Sure. It would be good for my business if I could help you get the 1% rule for the world's most awesome electric car.

But:

Tesla does not distribute its cars via an old-fashioned, well-past-its-prime dealer network.

To get into a Tesla, we can either order one at a mall or from their website. (They do have a handful of showrooms, too).

And, they give us no-haggle pricing. It is impossible to negotiate a single penny of a discount.

As a frequent car shopper, I love this. And one day, we will all get into cars using this new model. Bet on it.
I want one, but...

The truth is Tesla is (currently) not living up to their own hype.
Build problems
I would think that a luxury car selling for over $100,000.00 would include - well, luxury materials.

You would think these cars would be precision manufactured with 5-sigma checks and balances.

But the reality is Tesla is a huge disappointment for those not blinded by the Tesla cult of razzle dazzle.

I remember when Tesla opened their first retail store next to the Apple Store in King of Prussia, PA. I rushed (with my family) out there to check it out.

And we all gave ourselves that raised-eyebrow look after just a few moments inside Tesla cars...

We could not believe how cheap and inferior the car was built on the inside. It seems out of wack compared to how well designed the rest of the car is.

Now:

Make no mistake. The screen - ah, that screen. The Tesla center console screen is a beautiful work of art:

That screen should be given an award for …show more content…

Poor security
Breaking into a Tesla is child's play - not good:

Crash test issues
Tesla brags it earns the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) 5-star safety rating in every category and sub-category.

They claim it:
"offers the first SUV ever to earn the 5-star rating across the board."
And this may be true for the NHTSA testing...

But the more reliable Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) comes back with a different score.

Recently, the Tesla S earned a lower score of "Acceptable" on their small overlap test. It is an important test to see how the car reacts and protect the occupants when a small section of the vehicle clips an object.

Watch this... released just yesterday:

Yikes!

Not good. We can see the seatbelt seems to fail. And the dummy's head almost completely misses the airbag.
This post is not to bitch - but rather to fix
I know Tesla listens to our feedback.

Proof:

Remember when I lamented about the lack of cupholders?

Well, Tesla not only added these into their new Model X
