Dolly Parton's transformational journey

Who’s one of the richest female country singers in America? Who’s donated millions of dollars to charities for several different causes? Dolly Parton! Dolly Parton is a well known country singer and actress who grew up with a lot of adversities and life experiences that shaped her into one of the most admired, compassionate influential women of today. First of all, Dolly Parton was born with 11 other siblings in an extremely poor family. On January 19, 1946 Dolly was born in a small house in Locust ridge Tennessee (biography.com). Shortly after Dolly was born she was already performing on local TV and radio stations thanks to her families musical connections (dollyparton.com). It’s super impressive that at such a young age Dolly was still able to perform in front of a croud and put smiles on their faces. At the young age of 13 she performed her first show at the Grand Ole Opry. After high school Dolly moved to Nashville so she can more work more closely to pursuing her musical career (biography.com). Dolly Parton has donated 1 million dollars to the government to help develop a COVID-19 vaccine (yardbanker.com). The fact that dolly went from dirt poor to being able to donate millions to charities is just really inspirational. Dolly is truly one of the most inspiration women of today because of the amount of lives she’s changed. Dolly has formed many programs to either directly support people in need or make money for those in need. Imagination Library is a good example, its a foundation Parton made to give books to children all around the world (dollyparton.com). Today Dolly Parton is one of the richest female country singers in the world
