The 2016 Presidential Election was one of the craziest events in United States history. Obviously, Donald Trump won and it affected millions of people, whether it was in a good way or a bad way. In the article, “Donald Trump’s Inaugural Address Was Great”, by James Poulos, Trump was considered to be “great and logical” (Poulos). However, in the article, “Don’t Believe the Populism of Trump’s Inaugural Address. Our President is a Plutocrat”, by Ryan Cooper, Trumps is considered to be a terrible person, and he does not to deserve to be president.
Was Donald Trump prepared to take on the task of being our president? Anna Quindlen addressed various subjects that have had an impact on our country in her story Quilt of a Country. Donald Trump's actions have been a pure definition of the things she referred to in her story. I believe he is not entirely equipped with all of the things he needs to be our leader. Donald Trump has brought about major issues concerning education and immigration.
He has done this through passionate speeches that appeal to the anger and the desire of Americans to “make America great again". Like Sanders, Trump has also brought new ideas to the 2016 election. Trump has argued that too many free trade agreements are forcing American manufacturing companies to move abroad. He also talks of the massive trade deficits the United States has with Mexico and China. Trumps biggest policy change from GOP norms is his plan of building a wall across the southern border of the United States to further reduce illegal immigrations.
In a time where every word counts, Donald Trump delivers a speech that eases the fears of many. While Trump’s speech appears informal and elementary, he displays expertise in the art of rhetoric. He employs the use of pathos, ethos, impeccable diction and mindful arrangement to grab the attention of the audience. As is evident from the public disturbances, Donald Trump is not favored by many Americans.
Trump message has many plans and ideas he express theses ideas with the claim, repetition and of other political partners. There are numerous people vying to be the Republican candidate for the 2016 Presidential election. Of all the current candidates, Donald Trump is one that will get America back on track because he believes in our education, he has strong opinions on immigration, and he believes the people of Americans should have their 2nd Amendment protected. One reason I would vote for Donald Trump is that he believes in our education system. When the Common Core was implemented Trump voiced his opinion. He said, “Our Common Core is a disaster.”
Trump Life Donald Trump is a very fortunate person because of the life he has lived and was born into. He was a fortunate presidential candidate, he was fortunate in business because his dad owned a business before he was even born, and he was fortunate as a kid to be born in a life with money. First, let's talk about how Mr. Trump was a fortunate presidential candidate because of who the opposing candidate was. In 1987 Trump told Newsweek "I'm not running for President,"... "
We all have good and bad sides and that includes even Trump, the President of the United States. The politics are nasty. Trump is good and bad for additional reasons. He is against abortion, but that can lead to loss of jobs. Trump is also not very well educated on politics, which is a good thing also since we do not need too much politics views.
When Trump starting gaining followers most were from long angry speeches that blamed the countries problems on foreigners. “Fascist leaders threw out existing national constitutions, replacing representative government with dictarships that suppressed dissent” (Douthat). They used paramilitary organizations to intimidate their opponents. Trump defended behavior of supporters who assaulted a protester at one of Trumps rallies, saying “Maybe he should have been roughed up” (“Is Donald Trump a Fascist”). Trump likes to attack unauthorized immigrants, and refugees.
Why Donald Trump is Unfit to be President The 2016 presidential election results were shocking to many. Donald Trump, the newly elected president, had a surprising victory that has left many fearful for the future. He made many troubling promises during his campaign (building a wall, for example) that could be detrimental to the United States and other countries. Trump also verbally attacked and insulted other candidates and politicians during his campaign. Donald Trump is unfit to be president, because he has no political experience, frequently makes inappropriate comments about others, and often ignores proven facts in order to make his arguments.
Donald Trump, the billionaire real-estate developer and television personality, has now added “presidential candidate” to his list of titles. Surprisingly, he is doing considerably well in the public polls. His recent popularity surge may be due to his lack of a filter, or perhaps it’s purely for the entertainment his spectacles create. Whatever the reason, I find it troubling that such a deplorable man is currently leading the GOP polls. Donald Trump would not be a suitable President of the United States due to his outspoken public prejudices against minorities and misogynistic tendencies.
From the very beginning of his campaigning days, President Trump vowed to bring the United States more jobs, strong borders, greater wealth, and to “benefit American worker and family with his decisions on trade, taxes, immigration and foreign affairs.” (Michele,
The Renaissance and the Enlightenment are two significant periods in world history, specifically in European history. In his inauguration speech, he motivated and inspired his audience using his well thought arguments and passionate tone, as well as his use of rhetorical strategies. Donald Trump is usually thought of as a powerful speaker partly due to his arguments. In his speech, his points were clearly laid out and easy to grasp. One such argument that he uses is America’s current state in both economy and general state of being, as he clearly states when he says, “We 've made other countries
