Donald John Trump, the current President of the United States, is the 45th President of the United States, who has been in office since January 20, 2017. From the very beginning, President Trump has faced many controversies revolving his presidency, from the things he says to the actions he takes in the white house as the President of the United States which affect the millions of Americans who live in this great nation. Furthermore, President Trump has never held office; he is a businessman, not a politician, he cannot run the government like a business. The Presidential candidates then campaign across the country, explaining their views, opinions, and plans for current issues facing the nation (The United States Government, n.d.).
