Not as Bad as People Think
On 8 November 2016, Donald J Trump was elected president of the United States of America. The people in our country did not believe that he could one day become president, but he proved them wrong. Beating Hillary Clinton two hundred-twenty-seven to three hundred-four electoral votes. In his campaign, he delivered some promising speeches and promises which caused most people to reconsider their votes for the other candidates. If President Trump goes through with most of his promises, such as canceling Obamacare, cutting everyone's taxes and eliminate the $19 trillion debt, we would actually make America great again. This act was created by Obama to help the people in the United States who do not own healthcare. It was estimated to help 15% of our population making it a great idea. With every good idea, there are some flaws though, such as the rise in cost. For example, “analyzed initial rate estimates from eight states and found that premiums for “silver” plans (the most popular plans) are rising 18% next year, after a 12% increase this year” (Adamczyk), and the premium is expected to rise even more in coming years. This is why President Trump wants to create Trump Care and eradicate Obamacare. The point of healthcare is to have good accessibility and affordability with quality. The way Donald J Trump is going to fix this is by letting the trained professionals and the people become in charge of the decisions and not the white house. Making Trump Care a better way of solving this problem, and the Congress are urging and creating a bill that interprets all of the people's needs.
