Throughout the American history, many democratic presidents in the past had not succeed in changing the health care system. The health system was weak and needed health reformation. It was recognizable to all citizen, so a change in the Affordable Care Acts(ACA) was required to construct a fair health care business. The first black president Barack Obama took the initiative to seek for a change. “Forty-six million Americans—including nearly eight million children—lack health insurance with no signs of this trend slowing down.” The Obama website said, explaining the case study of an increase of Americans don’t have health coverage and that will only result in an increase of annual death rates. He believes the pros of Obamacare are health insurance is more affordable for many people, more Americans will have health insurance, people with pre-existing health conditions can no longer be denied Coverage, more screenings are covered, and lower prescription drug costs. However, for those who have health insurance they would need to pay higher premium, need to maintain their coverage to not be fine because it’s require, taxes go up because the money have to come from somewhere and et cetera. It’s not an easy law to take in because the question is would it be fair to social welfare, businesses, and others. The money has to come from somewhere to withstand the health program. Social welfare institutions wouldn’t benefit because more money will be going towards the health insurance industry than other organizations, such as to salvation army and homeless shelters. Businesses will be force to cut employees work hours, in order to profit from their business. “Business with 50 or more full-time employees must offer insurance or make payments to cover healthcare expenses for employees. By reducing hours, businesses are able to get by the 30-hour-per-week definition of a full-time employee.” The reason being is if the employers hired more than 50 workers; the health law states all 50+ workers have to be insured. So, by reducing their hires is the only way to save
