Donald John Trump officially became the 45th President of the United States of America when he took the oath of office on the 20th of January 2017, ushering in a new administration that vowed to stop what he termed as the ‘American Carnage’ from the previous administration including that of his immediate predecessor, President Obama. In a ceremony that was held in the US Capitol Building in Washington, D.C, President Trump gave out a speech that was generally focused on restoring lost greatness as he claimed that the previous administrations had not conducted the US as a superpower. In his speech, Trump claimed that the US deserved to be respected, and this is what he vowed to restore. Trump seemed to encourage the US citizens that they should never allow for empty talk and that no one should ever tell them that it could not be done. In his entire speech, the incoming president was very positive. He said that the time for empty talks by people was over.
