Donald Trump Persuasive Speech

Donald Trump today is our 45th president of the United States of America. Ahead of him will be a long daunting task of fixing the issues that we have in our society. I along with others find 3 issues to be very crucial. These 3 things I hope to see him address in his first hundred days as president. I hope to see him look at Terrorism, something that everyone fears, climate change, something affecting the very planet we all live on, and gun control, something that takes the lives of many innocent people. Donald Trump has a long road ahead of him and we the people will be fascinated what he can accomplish. There is the loss of land, the loss of glacier, and the loss of the food change because of this. Yes our planet goes through these changes once every thousands of year, but never in the lifetime of our planet has it happened at such velocity as it is now. Our planet we affect everyday but the vehicles we drive and the things we produce, but now it's time we reconsider this and come up with better ideas. Our President, Republican, doesn’t see the world coming to an end because of climate change, he thinks with time this will adjust itself. If that were the case many would not be as concerned as they are today. Look at Al Gore, former Vice President of the United States, day in and day out he is devoted to getting the facts on global warming, he doesn’t want to see politics ruin our planet. It is proven that 48 of the poorest countries are 5 times more likely to die from climate change. On top of that that only contribute to 1 percent of the greenhouse gases. Al Gore as seen in the video is truly a man of facts and not fiction. I hope the meeting he had with Trump back in December can persuade Trump to look at this different and put some sorts of efforts into this. I hope Donald Trump will think of the planet, think of our future, and the future of our kids and come up with a policy such as a carbon tax to eliminate this issue. This is why our President needs to find a way to fix our gun control policies. Never before have we seen such horrific number of deaths in our country than the numbers we see today. Today we see CNN broadcasting yet another mass casualty incident involving a gun. Statistically there was a mass shooting every two weeks broadcasted on a major television network, to me this is outrageous. The lives, the families, our society decreasing in morale over this. What we ought to see is us coming together working with the government to tackle this issue once and for all. Sadly we do not see this today as political and other organizations conspire to ensure nothing is change. Since 2001 more lives have been lost in gun violence than terrorism. Yes, we have our second amendment, the right to bear arms. This does not mean we need a person which psychiatric issues and or even a history of it to own a weapon that can take a life. We need policy on this, and that is what I hope Donald Trump will do. I hope to see regulation of those who can have a gun, the ammunition people can have, the magazines, and the types of guns a non-military citizen can own. We do not foresee any justification for a 20 year old to own an ak-47, that is not a proper weapon for any type of hunting. That is like trying to justify why a brand new male driver needed a corvette. We know what will occur and we need to correct it before it goes
