In Priscilla Alvarez’s article “Trump Prepares to End DACA,” she informs the reader about the background of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Donald Trump’s impending decision to end the program. The belief of removing DACA is just cruel and like Mr. Obama said, “Self-defeating.” The struggle with having a fair and permanent solution for immigrants. When will immigrants get their fair rights and to finally live life freely without the fear of being deported. Dreamers don 't oppose threats and are productive people in this society.
Trinisha Sullivan ELA 8B presidential essay 12/17/2015 Essay #2 Why shouldn 't Donald Trump be president? I believe that Donald Trump should not be president because, Trump has a degree in finance rather than Law, Trumps Ban against muslims and He thinks he can fix the world 's problems.

The Editorial Board of The New York Times article Trump Kills Immigration Compromise is an ineffective and unsound argument. The article is centered around the Senate's debate on immigration and the Democrats and Republicans proposals for immigration laws. This creates kairos because this is a current debate and makes the argument relevant, but there is a lack of conciliatory language which is paired with the absence of evidence. This makes it so there is no warrant to support their claim that Donald Trump does not care about fixing our immigration problem as longs as he can use it for his political gain. Also, this impacts the logos and ethos and generates an ineffective and unsound argument.
Trump known for his strong opinions on foreign relations seems to favor another President’s policy. James Madison’s Non-Intercourse Act (1809) was put in place to lift the embargo on all other countries except London and France; however, the act did not help and just led to the coming War of 1812. This is not to say that Trump will lead the American country to war, but his hard will opinions on muslims and mexicans have led to heated debate. In modern times, war, drugs, and violence not only plague the nation but the world. Trump known for his comments on his plan “ to stop immigration from any nation that has been compromised by terrorism,”notes CNN, is what many are calling a ban on muslims.
The American Dream is sought after by many people. Living the life of freedom and education is what many people are constantly fighting for. Children and families come to the United States in order to receive a better life and better opportunities. In 2012, DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) was established by Obama. S. 744: The Immigration Reform Act The Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Reform Act -- or Senate Bill 744 -- was introduced into the United States Senate in April 2013 and since then, it has been a highly important significant bill for both immigrants and nonimmigrants alike. In June, it was passed and it then went on to the House of Representatives. Currently, no formal decision has been made on it, even though millions of undocumented and potential immigrants are waiting for its approval. If the act was passed, border security around the US would become tighter, but all the illegal immigrants currently in the country would have a chance at citizenship. While it would take over a decade after the bill is passed for them
President Donald Trump has been advocating for the end of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program since September 2017 for what he believes is a violation of the Constitution. The controversy of terminating the DACA policy is one of several reasons why the US experienced government shutdowns in January and February 2018, displaying its current significance in American policymaking today. With that knowledge in mind, this paper will define the two primary opposing policy positions (to continue or not to continue DACA) and a proposed compromise currently developing in Congress. According to Tal Kopan of CNN, the DACA policy was implemented by the Obama administration in 2012 and aimed to allow, “Undocumented immigrants who
Socially speaking, immigrants may find themselves feeling excluded from a society with organizations and perceptions that generalize them as illegal aliens who disrupt and complicate social institutions, instead of being a contributing part of society. Immigrants may feel constantly fearful of the federal and state governments’ influence on the undocumented community, which leads to how divided politics has been on the issue. Many argue for immigration reform while others have turned down the idea entirely. Much of the stigma on immigrants involves their place of origin or religion being associated with such acts as terrorism, drug smuggling, and general violence. This allows those who are against immigration reform, the ability to argue for
Trump the Racist Don’t worry, none of this is offensive, Trump says, because he “loves the Mexican people” and “the Latinos love Trump.” Donald Trump’s relationship with his business partners has been in a spiraling down as he continues to refuse to apologize for his outrageous behavior. Trump has turned down every opportunity to take back his remarks regarding Mexican immigrants. Instead every time he talks about these issues they have only grown worse and more out of control. It is wise to say that Donald Trump is one of the most hated individuals by the Latino culture.
American Voters desire an Authoritarian figure like Donald Trump Americans fear what they don’t understand. However, in 2016 People that voted for Obama would also end up voting for Trump. In fact, American voters are easily conditioned by the media rhetoric, when news target is a certain ethnic group talking about crime, poverty and terrorist attack. For example, the news media correspondents warn us that possible terrorist attacks will happen just like 9\11.
Undocumented Students In today’s society there is a HUGE problem that the public is facing, a problem called immigration, but deeper than this is a problem called undocumented students. For centuries America has been labeled as “The Land of Opportunity” a meaning that means the world to most immigrants, so why are families most importantly the future generations excluded from the “American Dream”? An undocumented student can not succeed when they are constantly being thrown curve balls that target immigrant students to be unsuccessful. Chasing the “American Dream” has been the only crime undocumented students have ever committed, and of course they pay the price, from not being able to successfully be able to have a college career, having

Despite the multiple attempts at creating a well-rounded immigration reform the United States has failed to achieve the full capacity of the reform. The United States first failure at the reform was in 1986 when congress passed the “Immigration Reform and Control Act”. The purpose of this legislation was to amend, revise, and re-assess the status of unauthorized immigrants set forth in the Immigration and Nationality Act. The content of this bill is overwhelming and is divided into many sections such as control of unauthorized immigration, legalization and reform of legal immigration.
