It all started on October 24, 1986 when Aubrey Drake Graham was born. Better known as Drake, he is currently the best and most famous rapper in the world. The best, and probably the only, Canadian Jewish rapper ever. When a drake song comes on the radio almost everyone in the country will know it. Since he released his first mixtape in 2006, he has only gotten more and more popular. Unlike some popular rappers, Drake's lyrics are meaningful and powerful. One of his best lines, in 2011 Drake said, “Jealousy is just love and hate at the same time.” That's an example of just a few words from drake that mean so much. So many people around the world want to be like him, they try and learn from him. Not only do people want to make music similar to him, but they want to dress like him and be cool like him. Over his years of people popular he has basically created a signature style, Timberlands have always been his thing. Looking at the big picture, Drake is a big positive when it comes to him in our society. He is close to, if not the most popular person in our country. Other people who are as famous as Drake often don't bring the same positives that Drake brings. For example Kim Kardashian is famous for no reason and bring nothing to society. It is very hard to try to think of good lessons you can learn from Kim Kardashian. It’s easy to find a lesson to learn from Drake, in his song 10 bands he taught us about his dedication and focus, “I been in the crib with the phones off/I been in house taking no calls/I done hit my stride got my shit going.” Drake earned his right to be famous and deserves every second of it. His raps send a message which is a big reason why I love his music. Sometimes you need to dig deep to find these messages and symbols, but they are almost always there.
