However, it does start in the year 1775, right after colonial soldiers have fired on the British soldiers at Lexington and Concord. King George III pondered what actions to take to simmer the tensions between the colonists and Britain. Eventually, he chooses to engage in the war, knowing that it will be a long and bloody conflict. Washington was somewhat fearful of this war. The Civil War was a war fought from 1861 to 1865 to determine the survival of the Union or independence for the Confederacy. The Civil War was when America broke up and went to war with each other. More than 620,000 were killed and millions were injured. The main reason it started was because of slavery. Southern states seceded from the Union because they wanted slavery, they had different economics, and they didn't want any more compromises.
In 1783, the Treaty of Paris was signed, granting America its independence. Eight years prior, the American Revolutionary War began and many reasons can be offered as to why it began. The war began in 1775 because of the Shot Heard ‘Round the World. Leading up to the war, Britain employed many taxes on the colonists to pay for the debt the French and Indian War brought. The taxes were outrageous and the colonists responded poorly.
The War of 1812 was pretty eventful. Some of the main reasons it started was because the British were capturing American sailors and making them work for them, and they wanted American ships to stop in Britain and pay a tax if they wanted to share merchandise with any other European countries. This obviously made James Madison, the president at the time, mad so then he told Congress that he wanted to declare war. At first congress said no, but eventually Madison got his war.
On April 12, 1861 a tragic war broke out killing one-fifth of the 65,000 Texan soldiers. This war was known as the Civil war. It began as a result of an argument of slavery. The South supported it but the North would have none of the sort. This argument lasted until 1865 where the Union, or the northern states, had won and slavery was no longer allowed.

In 1793, Europe went into the war against revolutionary France, whereas “the United States had been the world’s primary neutral shipper” (Heidler 1). However, it did not last for long. As Americans provided the trade of sugar and coffee from the France to Europe, it created two issues: the trade lowered the price of sugar and coffee from Britain’s colonies; and the trade provided Napoleon with supplies (Boyer 232). Such conduct interfered with the Anglo-American relationship and created inconveniences for Britain. Consequently, Britain issued orders in Council, which regarded any trade with France and the countries of her control as illegal (Boyer 232).
Every American has either heard of or knows the details of the Civil War. The Civil War began in South Carolina in 1861 and ended in 1865. Like most wars, the Civil War began due to a disagreement. When former President Abraham Lincoln was running for his position he promised to end slavery. Assess the claim that Neo-Realism and Neo-Liberalism have far more similarities than differences. Neo-Realism and Neo-Liberalism, two of the most influential contemporary approaches to international relations, although similar in some respects, differ multitudinously. Thus, this essay will argue it is inaccurate to claim that Neo-Realism and Neo-Liberalism have far more similarities than differences. On the contrary, it will contend that there are, in an actual fact, more of the latter than there are of the former on, for example, the nature and consequences of anarchy, the achievement of international cooperation, and the role of international institutions. Moreover, it will be structured in such a way so as to corroborate this line of argument.
