Numerous times intelligence and tact from balancing the needs of new technologies, complex alliance structures, and the pressure from countless directions shows judgment. Furthermore, Eisenhower led from the front, taking responsibility for disasters by reorganizing the force and making difficult command decisions. Developing his command both as Supreme Allied commander and NATO, leaving a legacy that survives to this day. Finally, he achieved his objectives and accomplished the mission.
