Dylan and Eric are responsible for the mass murderer at Columbine High School (Dylan 1). They intended to blow up the whole school but ended up killing 13 people and injuring 20 on April 20th, 1999. Eric had the idea but Dylan followed along to bring guns and pipe bombs. They had a hatred for school. Eric hated everyone in the school and Dylan felt like he did not belong to Columbine. Eric and Dylan started to wear trench coats and all black. They were against everyone and wanted to murder people so they planned it out for a while until they eventually did it one day. Eric had an idea to blow up the school and put a lot of time into planning it. For example, Eric built the entire school on the game Minecraft. When Eric built it a lot of details were put into it. Dylan had very bad depression and talked about suicide in his journal so something was definitely not right. That is a red flag to the massacre that happened along with how creative Eric got with it. Eric was the one that was determined to do it and kept pushing the plan until they achieved it. Dylan Klebold was the one to cling to Eric’s plan because suicide was something that was always being talked about in the journal. Eric Harris said “God I can’t wait til I can kill you people. Feel no remorse, no sense of shame, I don’t care if I live or die in the shoot-out. All I want to do is kill and injure as many of you ... as I can” (Moore 3). That shows something was terribly wrong with these teenagers. Dylan’s nose was the “big blob” so that could of had something to do with suicide. Eric was jealous of Dylan because Eric did not have a prom date and Dylan did. This is true 100%. However, Eric was just a psychopath that wanted to kill people deep down inside and acted weirdly.
