There currently is a problem with effective communication affecting some members of the Dynamic Displays Marketing Division that could potentially result in a hostile working environment thus hindering other team members from doing their job. Thomas Green, though an ambitious individual, lacks the managerial experiences necessary to succeed in his current role as the Senior Market Specialist. He is inadequate across all the spectrum to be in this current role. However, his network relationship with Shannon Mcdonald, the Division Vice President, got him to be there and long and behold, his actions, decisions, behaviors, and judgements are speaking for themselves, showing that indeed Thomas Green is not yet ready to be in this role. Thomas Green is not ready for this position and Shannon Mcdonald knew it. It’s good thing that She’s trying to invest in him and help him climb the corporate ladder, but it should be well thought through. She should send him to management development seminar and go over the expectations for his job with him after that.

Frank Davis should work on his feedback style and try to get to know Thomas Green better. He should be alongside of him, coach him, and empower him. He should show him the big picture that Thomas is currently not seeing right now and explain to him why they’re setting high target for their division.
Thomas Green need to revisit the virtues of humility, diligence, and temperance and figure out ways to incorporate those virtues in his actions, words, and attitude in order to be effective and serve his bosses well. He should listen to his boss, ask questions, appropriately and politely. He need to respect, and communicate well with Frank Davis. Thomas also needs to understand his boss’ learning style and adjust to it. Using Data and graphs might not be his preferred learning style but it looks like they are needed in his job to help him not only talk about ideas, but to back them up as
