In early childhood educational or service setting, the leader has to adopt various communication approaches as communicating approaches with staff, parents, team members, stakeholders, and even the children may vary (Lindahl, 2009). An effective leader leading the early childhood services should encourage good and appropriate communication between staff and management and staff and children to avoid misunderstandings. It is by good and effective communication, one can make sure that a positive environment is maintained. Rodd (2006) argues that decision-making in early childhood services involves brining change to existing process or approach (Carnes, 2011). The team leader was responsible for monitoring and managing his staff who provided services for children of age group 3-5 years. The key responsibilities of the team leader are to direct and manage the staff working under him and ensure that they work in accordance to policy and procedures.
