The cost of America’s involvement in WWI left the national budget with a deficit of over 24 billion dollars. This huge deficit effected the budget
Additionally, it ruined the economy. The most tragic and devastating time in history was referred to as this. During this time, the nation's entire economy crashed and burned. After the war, there was an overproduction of everything, which resulted in a drop in all prices, which led to an economy boom. With that boom came a huge crash as people used every opportunity to get cash quickly.(Document 11).

It worsened the crisis with the Middle East, and both the United States and the Soviet Union didn’t do much to help with the Israeli-Arab conflict going on at that time. The Arabs used oil as a defense for the first time, no longer selling oil to the U.S and cutting exports to countries supporting Israel. This oil embargo had a devastating effect on the U.S economy. The U.S and Soviet Union were lead to another crisis, similar to the confrontation in 1962 which was the Cuban Missile Crisis. The Soviet Union was worried about an Arab defeat and the United States was worried about an Israeli defeat.
It led them to expect more than they had before. People's expectations, financially, spiritually, were raised. We were going to reach the end of the rainbow... I remember a woman saying on the bus that she hoped the war didn't end until she got her refrigerator paid for. An old man hit her over the head with an umbrella.
Baghdad was the major capital of the Abbasid Caliphate, which was predominantly an Islamic region. Last but not least, all of their major buildings and markets were destroyed. This made it impossible for later generations to worship or experience what their ancestors did in previous times. It also affected the pace at which the city was rebuilt. On the other side of things, Islam still remained a powerful world religion.
The War of 1812 was an armed conflict between the United States and the most powerful naval force in the world, Great Britain. The war, which would have a great impact among its people began on June 18, 1812 and finalized on February 18, 1815. This disastrous war was a result of a global conflict and Britain’s injustice actions toward America. As the war broke out, both countries faced devastating challenges such as casualties, destructions, and invasions, but in the end the treaty of Ghent would be the resolution and this would then come to be known as the “second war of independence.” Great Britain was constantly at war with France for global superiority.
When people hear the term war, they automatically presume it as a negative event in time. The mass amounts of death, injuries, and families destroyed would make one believe not a single positive can come from it, although this is not always the case; there are many positives that can come from a nation fighting a strong battle. Canada benefitted from the war due to it helping end The Great Depression in 1939, women involvement increased, and the nation of the strong and free gained more military independence. World War Two made a large positive impact because it helped eliminate the dilemma that caused great hardship from 1929-1939; the event is known as The Great Depression. People lost their jobs, went into poverty, and could not meet
When the war interrupted American trade, Americans had no choice but to start making the goods that they were previously importing here in the United States. So, we ended up making more goods here then we were importing. Therefore, the United States making more goods led us to believe in the stability of our country. Another effect was that the United States finally proved that we could defend ourselves against the world’s strongest military

Though the forces against the United States were strong, the strength of the Americans put them on top of their enemies and led them to gain new spirit and patriotism.
Most always, in order for something to fail, a chain of events must occur first. The Founding Fathers of the United States created amendments, the Bill of Rights, Checks and Balances;and many more programs to adhere to the order and avoid any type of collapse internally. In a thriving civilization and more specifically; an empire, one of the most important elemental makeup is the economy. Without a solid economy-a civilization whether large or small could never thrive.
