My accomplishments and experiences that I have gained through studying education has led me to believe that, by pursuing the Ed.D program, my leadership, analysis, and decision-making skills in educational organizations would significantly improve. I think that this program will also strengthen my communication skills, deepen my overall understanding of research in the educational field, as well as help me to examine critically and theoretically understand the challenges facing educational organizations. One of my long-term career objectives is to make positive impacts on the delivery and quality of educational programs with an emphasis on the application of theories to real-world problems. In Saudi Arabia, I worked as a teacher for many years in several different primary and secondary schools. My work had proved both enormously rewarding and fulfilling to me, especially when I served as assistant principal in two separate schools. Similarly, I was assigned to the role of supervisor to plan the school program, communicate and implement established policies, and delegate responsibility for completion of tasks. Direct interaction with young students while teaching in a classroom has brought many joys and continued to reward me, I am now looking for a position in educational leadership as part of my immediate career aspirations to make changes in quality of education. My goal is getting the doctoral degree where I can grow and take on new challenges over time.
