The impact of homework has on students

Homework is a major part of our school life. Teachers always tell you to hand in your homework on time or else you will face different consequences. After spending eight hours studying at school, all you want to do at home is relax, spending time with your family, hanging out with your friends, doing your chores, etc. With homework, you won’t have enough time to do any of those. Homework takes up a lot of your time, and some of us have to go to academy so we won’t even have enough time to do it. Homework is a waste of our time, and therefore it shouldn’t be mandatory.

First, we have to follow the 8-8-8 circadian rhythm of life. The 8-8-8 rule states that we need to have 8 hours of sleep, 8 hours of play, and 8 hours of work each day. We already spend 8 hours at school each day, and homework will disrupt this rule, which will lead to an unbalanced life. Homework will reduce a student’s sleeping and playing time, which will ultimately lead to a negative impact on their performance during the day. Schooling to a student is just as stressful as work to parents. Adults usually work the same length of time each day and come home exhausted, yet they can’t understand why their child have trouble focusing on their homework. The pressure of having to complete their homework everyday can be quite daunting for some children, and they need time to refresh their minds and bodies.
