This quote, “Energy and Persistence Conquer All things” said by Ben Franklin, is very relevant to this day, especially in today 's community and culture. In today’s world, most people are trying to get something done as fast as they can so they have more time for “important” activities, such as cell phones and electronics. A quote as deep and meaningful as the one above could be taken many different ways.
Some may view it as a daily motivation for trying your very best every day. Others may view it as a constant guideline to move his or her life in the right direction. If you take a deeper look into this quote, you find that the definition of the word, persistence, means “firm or obstinate continuance in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition”. The phrase “in spite of difficulty or opposition” means that whatever you may be going through, or the culture you live in, it cannot stop you from being the very best you can be. The fact that a quote from someone from so many years ago, could say something so useful and appealing still to this day, is astonishing to me.
