I prioritised engagement with senior colleagues to assess risks of the initial plan and then spoke to creative colleagues to ensure a backup plan was quickly created. For example, I have led on the paid-for promotion of recruitment-related content for the last year. This has required gaining a strong understanding of LinkedIn and Meta campaign management tools and adapting my approach as these tools have changed. By prioritising my work with calendar mapping setting achievable deadlines, I have managed a large number of promotion requests alongside ongoing campaign and daily work. To ensure cost effectiveness for the numerous business areas which use paid-for promotion, I set appropriate bench marks based on previous performance, assess the job area and recommend a budget. When the promotion is live, I regularly report back on the successes of the promotion to both the business area and recruitment team. This involves illustrating how budget is being spent and demonstrating the sort of people who are clicking through to the application. This regular communication ensures confidence from the hiring manager and allows me to show the impact of my work. I have applied this approach to large scale recruitment campaigns, creating reports in suitable detail, so that the core successes are explained and justified but without too much detail.
