When looking at my accomplishments in English IV I can really see a major improvement from
where I began. I have wrote so many essays this year that I actually feel like I am in college. I plan to
major in the business or the medical field. Some of the many things that I have improved on this year
are speaking to an audience, emailing people the correct way and typing in the correct form.
When I began this long, hard journey of English IV at the beginning of this semester I could not
talk in front of a lot of people. I mostly rambled on about things that did not even go with what I had
written down to say. Note cards have helped me a lot by keeping me on task and understanding how to

I can now say that I can actually give a good speech.
One of the many advances I have made in the use of communication would have to be using
emails. I send emails all the time now from communication with my teachers to even running my
business and emailing clients abut inflatable rentals through my website. I never even knew you had
certain headings and titles you had to put when sending emails. The paperclip button on the computer I
found out did not hold papers together but instead it made it possible for me to send the documents I
had written on my computer to a person I am emailing.
The main part of English IV that I think is relevant to my future in college is being confident. I
have learned that no matter if you are writing a paper of giving a speech you have to be confident even
if it has nothing to do with anything you are talking about if you are confident you can make people
think and believe it is true. One of the biggest impacts I have had this semester that made me feel really
confident was an essay I wrote about God vs Lucifer. I was so proud of this essay because I just spoke
from my heart on what I thought about God vs
