I am Linnette Leon, and I desire to become an entertainment lawyer. Growing up I’ve always had a strong fascination for law and the passion for music. I was raised with my family being involved in both law, and politics as well as music and songwriting. My mom taught me to have an open mind to music and gave me the freedom to learn and advance in an instrument. In the other end, my dad gave me the knowledge of the real world and kept me aware to the problems we face every day, and I’ve learned to not only stand up for my opinion, but as well as acknowledge and understand what others have to say. Correspondingly, when looking for a career field I found it ideal to become an entertainment attorney to have both aspects of my life in my near future.

I plan to become a successful attorney as well as a successful business owner. In order to achieve this goal I plan to finish law school while studying business, I plan to get hired at a well established law firm, I plan to get experience and knowledge, and I plan to be hardworking, ambitious, and determined. I know that I will face trials tribulations, and there will be times where I feel like giving up, but in those times I will be reminded of my end goal, and of the reason why I decided to become a lawyer. I require myself to have patience, because I know that the life I chose is a tough and a great one, and in order to achieve it I need to be accommodating. With hard work I hope that by my late 20’s I have a stable job in a law firm, and by my late 30’s I hope to have gained as much experience and knowledge needed to start my company. When I reach my goal I know that I will be filled with relief and I will be overjoyed, knowing that all of my hard work and long days have been useful, knowing that the dream I have had ever since I was little became a
