Epilogue
One year later. . .
Tempest hustled down the sidewalk, weaving her way through the crowd of people some getting off work and others like herself off to meet someone. A secret smile curved her lips, she's excited to tell him the news. When she got to Hellcat Security's waited for him by the elevator for him.
Thoughts of last year crossed her mind and what that gave her the most comfort is that her brother was currently free and safe somewhere. But she could never get Buck to reveal just when the switch took place and her brother was replaced with the decoy which turned out to be that notorious Lubrity Altazar. So she decided to let sleeping dogs lie. His security team was no doubt the very best and those good old boys were extremely tight. Buck had once told her that each one of them would take a bullet for the other and obviously he proved that to be true–they had each other's backs.

Tempest's waited for him to step off the elevator before she wraps her arms around his neck and breathing in his scent. Buck bit his lip to contain his laughter, at the reaction he was getting from Tempest.
"What do I owe this pleasure of you gracing me with your presence?" he asked.
She pulled away from the hug and looked at him, before saying. "I felt like you needed to see your wife earlier than usual, my beloved."
Buck shook his head. "That all good and fine but I know you, Tempest. What's going on?"
Tempest pretended to sigh like she wasn't going to answer the question, and Buck pretended to glare at her.
She looks up at him. "I got lonely at home waiting for you," she said slowly as she thought of something else to added. "And I want to go out to someplace fancy."
He nodded. "Do you have someplace in mind?"
