“Equality of Rights under the law shall not be abridged by the United States or by any state on account of sex.” This is Section one of the ERA (or Equal Rights Amendment) that was introduced in 1923. This statement has been proven incorrect. The ERA would not just benefit women, but also benefit the LGBTQ+ community, and the disabled. Men get so much privilege in the United States, but just think about it, without women working alongside the men, almost no work would get done.
