Greeting,

I am reaching out to in hopes that you can help my students reach their goal of being able to attend a once in a lifetime hospitality field trip opportunity. I am Erin Giordano and I teach Hospitality at Orange Technical College in Winter Park, Fl. My students come from all over Orange County Public Schools to learn about working in the Hospitality Industry however many of my students have not had the chance to explore many of the Hospitality locations that the city has to offer due to financial constraints. We utilize the Hospitality and Tourism Management Program that is designed by the American Hotel and Lodging Association Educational Institute (AHLAEI). My goal as their teacher is for them to understand and perform Guest Service at the highest level …show more content…

Concluding the day, students have a comprehensive discussion on how they will apply the knowledge they have gained to address a challenge they face in their school environment. Students are inspired to take responsibility for their own success, to make the choice to step up and leave an imprint for all who follow—just as Walt Disney did.
