Have you ever wondered what it would be life to live in the middle of nowhere or on a vast and empty prairie? Willa Cather’s book , My Antonia, like many of her other books, takes place in the vast prairies of Nebraska. They usually can't contain their jealousy and that leads them to do bad things, like killing or punishing people. One god is actually known for being full of envy, her name is Hera. Zeus is always having affairs and not being faithful to his wife, Hera. Because of Zeus’s infedelities, Hera always watches out for him and she can never stop being jealous.
Birth God Donysus is the son God Zeus and Semele, the daughter of king Cadmus of Thebes. The Greek goddess Hera, Zeus' wife, discovered the affair while Semele was pregnant. According to the myth, Hera appeared as an old crone (or as a nurse), and approached Semele. Semele not knowing that she was the goddess Hera told her that father of the baby was the god Zeus.
