Throughout the ages gods have been used as a way to find purpose and reason in life. They also often had ways of teaching those who worship them how to do well at life. I feel the same about my family and that through looking up to them I can see how to live a fair and good life. From this I feel that through comparison of the Greek gods my family can be seen in a way of which I could look up to them and appreciate them more for who they are and the lessons I could learn from them.
My grandfather would be Zeus: king of the gods. I know this because Zeus is the father of all gods and is the wisest of them all, my grandfather is the eldest member of our family and is very smart therefore I feel that he relates to Zeus. An example of how I have seen that he is smart is that he owns a business. If someone owns a business they have to be very sensible with their money and how they handle things. Therefore, my grandfather must be very wise and careful with his money as he owns a very successful business. He is always hard at work and he often has very little spare time. He is always working so he can so he can supply for our family, for this I look up to my dad as though he was the good of crafts and labour. An example of when I get the idea of my dad being a hard worker and wants to provide for our family is that he has to constantly go to places such as America for his work but doesn’t mind it and gets the job done. Another example of how he is a hard worker is that he is always willing to help me with homework and that he is very good at general crafts and is always determined to get things done.
