In this day and age, Abraham Lincoln is one of the most iconic presidents to ever come into office. He is known for incredible leadership during the civil war, often regarded as one of America’s greatest heroes. The Civil War is a very important part of the history of America. The results of the Civil War helped the U.S become truly united and abolished slavery. Lincoln played a major role in this war. His impact on the war should be praised for many reasons.
