I know many people around whose is unemployment. They are mostly Vietnamese who move to America and cannot find the job. Because of using other language, international people probably have the hard time to find the job in other country. Today, I will interview my uncle. His name is Lo. He and his family moved to America about 2 years ago. His family has four members: his wife, two sons and him. He came to America with the hope that his son will get better education and it will bring them to the brighter future. However, moving to other country had effect his life a lot. The most challenge is he becomes unemployment, while he needs to take care his family also. He was a Chemistry teacher in a middle school. With the wage of a teacher, he can take care his family well. America didn’t accept his teacher diploma so he became unemployment. This type of unemployment is call frictional. Frictional unemployment is when a person moving or change the job. He takes about 3 months to find another job. I decides to interview him to have better understand how difficult he have to face with, and how he can go over with it. In 3 months unemployment, he did not get any wage. However, he used that time to study the news thing. He went to study English at the school which open to teach English for international people. He also study and take driver test. He believed that he needs to know how to drive then he can go to more place to find jobs. The important was he learn how hard to survive during unemployment time. He gets experience and now, when he had job, he feel more respect. He also feel thankful for those people who give him drive, translate for him and help him find the job.
