This information must be given in a way that is accessible and able to understand. The person using the service will have confidence in the organizations involved if information is clear; the service will be more efficient because each party will know what they need to do. Overall, it will portray a more positive and professional image, as well as satisfaction for the person receiving support.

For additional guidance I would speak to my managers, colleagues, professionals or refer to the individuals support/care plans. I would seek additional guidance and training, if I were unsure on how I should provide support for daily living tasks. Any changes around daily living tasks need to be reported and recorded, my manager will then reassess the persons needs and adjust the support plan to meet their current needs.
