What exactly is the Diabetes Association?The American Diabetes Association (ADA) was founded in 1945 by 26 physicians to support research, advocate for additional resources, and provide information and support for those living with diabetes and health care professionals (Order "Know Your Agency" Series: American Diabetes Association, n.d.).
