The career that I am currently pursuing is something in health care. I would love to become a physician assistant one day. I have always wanted to pursue a career in health care because I have always wanted to help. I have always want to be in the healthcare profession and so I know that sociology will help me with the everyday tasks that I will probably face as a physician assistant. I know that learning sociology will help me become a better physician assistant one day and here is why: it will help me learn how to give better options to my patients, help me counsel patients, and help me help the hospital in what is necessary for patients. Sociology can help me be able give my patients options about what is better for them. I will be able to use my information about how different cultures believe in different things and so I will be able to give them better treatment options. I will be able to help them get other treatment options for their cases, in case, that they don’t want to take a certain medication or go through a certain treatment because it will go against their cultural traditions. If my patients are struggling with some emotions and cannot express them because of something I can help them. I can help them if they are having family problems by providing solutions that will help them with those problems. I will be able to provide them with some advice to solve those problems because I will know how because of what sociology has taught me. I will be able to also help them give them sometimes emotional counseling because of what sociologist has taught me. I would be able to do all of this by using my sociological imagination where I would instead of looking at the problem in by biased view look at it in a different view, so I could give them the best opinion that I could think
