My decision to make the Bill of Rights my monument was solely intended to commemorate one of America’s most needed and significant documents that has helped our civil liberties till this day. The Bill of Rights was made by James Madison when several states called for a new document that had greater constitutional protection of individual rights. Each amendment encases something that almost all Americans do every day, without them we wouldn’t be the America we know and love today. Many of the rights Americans love were not implemented into the Constitution such as speech, religion, and the right to fair trial were not placed into the original Constitution. I'm going to symbolise the freedom of speech part with a tree by putting a mouth on it; with words saying freedom of speech is a civil right that we all deserve. Im also going to put red, white, and blue flowers around it to represent freedom I choose to symbolise due process and rule of law by putting the Symbols of Law I will put The Scales of Justice that are the most used references for law. I will also put a gavel in the middle to represent due process with the gavel meaning a judge or jury of some sorts. I will also include the legislative branch of government that makes the laws. I choose to symbolise no quartering troops by making a house; and having troops standing outside of it while; the owner of the house comes out and says no to the troops as they attempt to enter; I will also make them be redcoats thus representing the british. I choose to symbolise no cruel punishment by having a judge sentence a guy to step on a lego. Then I will have another guy as he's about to step on the lego say “now that's just cruel and unusual punishment”. Then they will say “now that's amendment numba 8”. That's how I will represent all the needed amendments in American
