Cosmetologist
Have you ever wondered what a cosmetologist is? Harper Collins said that “the art or profession of applying cosmetics.” (Collins n.p.) is what cosmetology is. However, cosmetology is a profession of making others feel happy and better about themselves. People in the world usually get a “makeover”. Consequently, not everyone can go do this cause they want a “makeover” or to make themselves happy or better about themselves, they do it to look presentable for work or special occasions. There are a lot of professions in cosmetology but the main three professions are hair, nails, and makeup.

The reasons they have to be patient is because they have to wait till the polish is finished drying and other, reasons is they have to be patient and take their time on painting your nails. They have to be calm because if they are not calm they will get the nail polish where it doesn 't belong and could be in a hurry to get done. The biggest thing is that you have to be creative and try to get your clients nails done how they want them. Being creative is a huge thing in everything you do, especially in nails and makeup.
Lastly, cosmetology profession in makeup not a make-up-artist. People oftently mix or consider the same thing, but there is a difference according to Sam from Evergreen Beauty College ” A make-up artist is one who works with cosmetics and how these are used and applied using various techniques and methods. Cosmetologists, on the other hand, deal with more than just cosmetics. They also deal with hair styling, nail care, skin care, hair maintenance, and the whole beauty package.” (Sam-no last name- n.p.).
