Cardiomyopathy is a serious condition where the heart is abnormal. If left untreated, it is common that you could go into heart failure. Dilated cardiomyopathy is where the heart chambers are enlarged. It makes it harder for your heart to pump blood and for that blood to get to the rest of your body. The good news is that it can be treated.
An important part of learning and researching cardiomyopathy is learning what the symptoms are. In the early stages of any type of cardiomyopathy you may have, you may not have any symptoms, but as the condition advances, symptoms will show up and they tend to get worse unless treated.
