Filipinos are known for their warm hospitality, a trait displayed by every Filipinos, a heartfelt and generous friendly gestures given to visitors both local and foreign individuals. Filipinos accepts guests, both local and foreigners alike with warmth and pleasing ways, even going out of their ways just to make their guests feel comfortable. This hospitality by Filipinos existed even before Spain’s colonization of the Philippines. The natives welcomed the first foreign settlers in the country, the Malays, sharing their local ways and technology to them. Today, as evident in every Filipino homes, when guests arrives at meal time, the guest is offered whatever meal is being serve or even going out of their way in preparing a new meal for the guests.
