To persuade the followers the CEO and his team have initiated team talks that are held monthly to elaborate the vision , mission and core values of the organization , whilst receiving feedback and working on the same. Persuasion is an attribute that is used by global leaders in negotiations, and partnerships and is also a characteristic (Goldsmith et al. , 2003 ; Spears, 2002) KPLC as an organization, has a workforce that comprises employees from diverse cultural backgrounds. In organizations managing diversity is key, according to Trompenaars and Voerman (2010) managing diversity is the core value for servant leaders . Similarly , managing culture is key in cross cultural leadership as it enables the leader to work effectively with persons from diverse cultures (Adler & Gundersen , 2007) .

Cesar Chavez has inspirational core values to accept all people, celebrate the community, respect life and the environment, non-violence, innovation, preference to help the most needy, knowledge, sacrifice, service to others, and determination. His first core value to accept all people, I was raised to not judge people based on their race or religion. Being raised this way has made me curious about other peoples backgrounds and cultures. Therefore, during my years in college I would like to spend a semester abroad in order to incorporate myself in another culture and learn as much as possible. Celebrating the community, one of the major ways that I have done this is being involved in Florence All-Around 4-H. We take pride in giving back to the community whether it is to help an elderly couple clean up their yard or volunteering for town events.

The value of order often competes with civil liberties, and economic equality competes with property rights. Even today, there is a considerable consensus among American citizens about certain concepts that are deemed to be basic to the United States political system. If we can still remember, outsiders saw us as a backward, savaged and uncivilized people so they started teaching us how to be a civilized one. They saw the Filipinos manner of eating as unsanitary, unethical and disrespectful so they taught us proper manners in every occasion including table etiquettes. Likewise, Boyd and Ellison (2007) stated that Millennials dominates the virtual space; it is the perfect platform where they can let themselves out. In accordance such interconnectedness affects the way people think, it may result to the adaptation of ideologies from different cultures. INTRODUCTION We belong in a time where the world goes through constant changes. Life today is so fast-paced and dynamic that we sometimes knowingly ignore what 's happening around us since it may instantly change anyway. The Philippines specifically, have gone through great changes in the past several years. These changes have rooted from problems that made it impossible for us to develop and progress as a country.
The two important values that I have learnt are the independence and the respect. I learnt these two values since my childhood. One of the values is the independence. Independence means that you can support yourself without owning or depending on yourself concerned with livelihood or studying. You can make decision of your life without being controlled by the others.
Values are principles that people hold important to them in life. As I gotten older my values have changed based on my experience, knowledge, and goals. Since I am in college and the field of social work forced me to open my eyes to different things and ideas I would 've never thought of. Five values that are important to me while I am on this journey of becoming a social worker is my education, positive energy, not judging people based on their past, a reflect and meditate on my life, and be a generous to other.
I believe that every family has their own roots, essence, uniqueness, beliefs and thoughts, some families have both parents, some just the mother, just the father, two mothers or two fathers, they might have an only child or two, or maybe 5 or even 10, therefore, those children start learning all these things from their family and surroundings, they ask questions, they imitate each other’s actions and are constantly learning and trying to catch as much information and experiences as possible. SURVIVING THE CYNICAL EFFECT OF GLOBALIZATION IN THE COUNTRY “We were all humans until, race disconnected us, religion separated us, politics divided us, and wealth classified us.” Despite of the great impact of it in the advancement of our country, globalization has been threatening our lives and the worst thing is that we, Filipinos, are not aware of this threat brought by the phenomenon. The widening of the gap between the rich and poor people, a result of globalization, puts the Philippines deeper in the quicksand of poverty and also causes social injustices among men.
The Philippines is a predominantly Catholic nation. As a result, most of the traditions in our country run parallel with Catholic and Christian beliefs. Events like fiestas and processions, sacraments including Baptism, Holy Eucharist and Matrimony, and celebrations such as Easter and Christmas are now deeply rooted in the Filipino culture. Generally speaking, Catholicism has been attached to the Filipino identity from the moment the Spaniards introduced it to us in the 16th century. I grew up in a Catholic family—my parents and relatives are all Roman Catholics.
