Social perspectives on Gun Law Reform In the United States, guns are easy to come by and that causes a lot of gun violence, so that needs to change. The government needs to make new laws to reduce gun violence and to make our communities safer. To much violence has occurred in this country for the government to not make any needed changes. After reading the article called “FACT SHEET: New Executive Actions to Reduce Gun Violence and Make Our Communities Safer”, there was a lot of information on the the government is planning to change the gun violence problem. But on the other hand, guns can help prevent crime and violence. For example, cops with guns and the FBI can help stop mass shootings and armed robberies. Guns can sometimes also be used for safety.
