Gun control laws in the U.S have changed over time and continue to change. The issue of gun control is highly controversial and involves many heated perspectives. Gun control is hotly debated because it involves issues of violence as well as issues of personal defense. Studies have been conducted to investigate and report why so many violent crimes are being committed by Americans in comparison to other developed countries.
