Jayson Tatum, De’Aaron Fox, and Markelle Fultz are great talents drafted out of the 2017 NBA draft and only one can be named Rookie of the Year by a elite group of NBA writes upcoming season. I will be showing why each of these player could be Rookie of the Year. Jayson Tatum was drafted third overall to the Boston Celtics, Jayson is one of the most NBA ready body weighing in at 205lbs and with the height of 6’8 being one of the biggest forward in the draft. The Celtics will need Tatum to contribute immediately due to the fact they traded Isaiah Thomas and Jae Crowder for Kyrie Irving. Jae Crowder was the Celtics starting small forward last year with the trade will leave the spot up for grabs between Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown both young and still growing players. Even if Jayson Tatum doesn’t start he will still have a great chance at Rookie of the Year because of his ability to shoot and rebound at a high level.
