Auston Matthews and his hockey Success, Matthews not always thinking he was going to be a hockey player but instead follow his dad’s path and be a baseball player but hockey would become his number one passion. Auston Matthews, was born on September 17, 1997 in San Ramon,CA. Matthews was home schooled in high school. Auston’s parents were Ema and Brian, life changed when Ema and her Son Auston moved to Switzerland so that Auston could have the chance to play hockey where he thought the players would be better and would be the best thing for him to do he would get to be a better player and the companion was better there, Ema had to work two jobs to be able to afford Austin Matthews to be playing hockey, she spent upward of twenty grand just so Austin could be able to play record show most of the money went to ice time so that Auston Could teach himself to be a better player. Matthews an American professional ice hockey player playing for the Toronto Maples leafs. Before playing for the Toronto Maple leafs he played for the U.S National Team for boys that were under eight-teen which was a Ushl team which is best one of the best league to play in the under 18 program where he tailed 30 goals and 38 assist in his Ushl Career.
